During the autumn of 2010, AF Bostäder changed to new addresses. All tenants were affected by this change. In each individual case, it could be about change of street address, a new apartment number or a combination of both.
Background
The reason for the address change is new legislation and demands in the existing address standard. The formal decision concerning the change was taken by Lund’s municipality and thereafter the change process started immedeately.

Re-labeling
Since all addresses have been changed re-labeling has been necessary. In total, approximately 36 000 re-labeling of the whole housing stock. In connection with the change of address re-labeling of the area maps, entrances, apartment and room doors and mailboxes have had high priority. Even Vildanden, Ulrikedal, Studentlyckan and Delphi have been re-marked during the winter.
Remaining work in 2011
In spring 2011, work on planning the remaining re-marking has been carried out. What remains are the store signs on Kämnärsrätten and Klosterängen, re-marking of all personal bike racks and re-marking in our corridor kitchens (cupboards / drawers / fridge / freezer). Work will run parallel to those of our neighborhoods where re-marking remains. We hope that all re-marking is completed before September 2011.
