Gylleholm (Golden Island) is really worth its name. In fact, it’s worth its weight in gold if what you want is a quieter student life. The site is our smallest and most idyllic, yet is right in the centre of the city. In total Gylleholm has only 48 residences, all single rooms with cooking area.

The whole area looks green and prosperous. Visit Gylleholm, take a few deep breaths, and you’ll feel your pulse-rate dropping to a slow, steady beat. The newly-painted attractive grey-blue buildings protect the inner gardens against wind and intrusive noise. Here you’ll find space for peaceful reading in the sun, or pass pleasant barbecue evenings with friends.

The whole site was at one time a botanical college with cultivation as far as the eye could reach. Perhaps it is the serenity of that time that is still rooted in Gylleholm.

Although the site is on one of Lund’s quietest and most pleasant streets, you have central Lund’s complete range of services within easy walking distance.
