All the apartments are on the ground floor, which makes them especially suitable for adaptation for use by the handicapped. All the ground-floor apartments are therefore rented out with a special clause that gives AFB the right to terminate a tenancy with three months notice if a residence is needed for a handicapped student. In the event that AFB needs to requisition an occupied apartment for a handicapped student, the existing tenant will be allocated a similar apartment elsewhere.
