House rules for a pleasant environment

We at AF-Bostäder are extremely keen on promoting a pleasant and secure environment in our accommodation, and we therefore ask you to note and observe the following rules. In return, we will do everything we can to help you feel at home with us.

·         Keep noise levels down -- especially between 2200-0700.

·         If you’re going to have a party, tell your neighbours. Remember, too, that you are always responsible for your guests.

·         Take care of and clean your residence and common spaces. You can get tips and advice from your House Caretaker

·         Please remember that double occupation of corridor rooms is not permitted.

·         Entrances, staircases, corridors, and balconies may not be used for storage of furniture, refuse, or other items. They can obstruct emergency services, fire exit routes, and cleaning.

·         Because of the risk of allergies, household animals are not permitted in corridor rooms.

·         If you live in a smoke-free corridor, the ban on smoking applies in all the corridor areas. The smoking ban also applies to everyone in all common spaces such as stairs and laundry rooms.

·         Always report problems or faults in your residence and common spaces via www.afb.se Fault Reports, or direct to your House Caretaker.

·         Use the existing notice-boards to put up posters or notices.

·         Always park bicycles and vehicles in the places intended for them.

·         Follow the laundry care instructions and opening times.

Household for apartments

Safety and comfort in your accommodation are quality concepts that we in AF Bostäder care about. Therefore we ask you to be considerate and to help ensure that the following rules are kept:

  • Always report any faults in your apartment and associated stairwell/gallery and laundry room, preferably via www.afb.se or direct to your house caretaker.

  • Keep noise levels down, especially between 2200-0700.

  • If you’re going to have a party, let your nearest neighbours know. Remember that you are always responsible for the behaviour of your guests within the residence and the boundaries of the property.

  • Look after your room and keep it clean. Don’t shake mats and don’t throw out cigarette ends or other debris from balconies and windows.

  • Stairwells, entrances, galleries, corridors and cellars are evacuation routes and must not to be used to store items of furniture, bicycles, perambulators, or similar objects. Use the proper storage facilities. These items hamper cleaning and present barriers to emergency access in cases of sickness or fire.

  • Show consideration for your environment, and avoid having barbeques on balconies or near residential buildings. Please use barbeque facilities where they are provided.

  • Respect the smoking bans that apply in all common areas such as stairwells, lifts, cellars, and laundry rooms. Remember also that smoking on balconies, galleries and near entrances can disturb the local environment.

  • You are responsible for ensuring that any domestic animals do not disturb your neighbours.

  • It is not permitted to put waste materials outside apartment doors, in stairwells, corridors or in galleries. All wastes should be placed in containers at the dedicated refuse or environmental facilities.

  • Please note convenience and operating instructions  in the laundry room.
