Implementation requirements

Requirements for organisation of information and implementation.
When undertaking work which in any way affects AF-Bostäder’s tenants, the contractor will be responsible for information and implementation as follows:

Information.
1. The contractor should have a named information manager who has overall responsibility for information to and contacts with the tenants regarding the implementation of the work.

2. AF-Bostäder is responsible for introductory and general written information. The contractor is then responsible for keeping the tenants informed on all activities that affect the tenants and/or their residence. Before work begins, tenants should be given an overall picture of what work is to be done and how it will affect them.

3. Entry to residences is not permitted without the tenant’s expressly signed approval.

4. All written information handed out or in any other way distributed to tenants should be presented in advance to AF-Bostäder and be approved by a responsible person within the company by means of a signature on the reverse of the original.

5. All written information should include the telephone number, e-mail address, and other contact routes for tenants and AF-Bostäder staff to be able to reach the information manager. It should also be clear that questions on planning and implementation of the work will be sent to the information manager.

6. Every change in stated times should be promptly reported to the tenants affected, as well as to AF-Bostäder’s manager.

Implementation.
7. If the tenant is not home when the contractor visits the apartment, the contractor will leave a slip advising of his visit with a note of reason for the visit, date, time, name of the visitor, and telephone number.

8. All work in residences and other spaces at the disposal of tenants should be carried out the doors closed and locked. External doors should always be locked when the contractor leaves the apartment.

9. No noisy or otherwise disturbing work should be done before 0800.

10. Radio or other amplified music or sound equipment may not be used.

11. Scrap, dust, and other refuse generated in the apartments as a result of work should be removed immediately and at the end of the working day each apartment should be cleaned and returned to the condition it was in before the work began.

12. Apartments and other spaces at the disposal of tenants may not be used for any purpose other than carrying out the agreed work; for example, the contractor may not use the tenant’s toilet.

13. Smoking is prohibited indoors.

Evaluation and summary of experience.
14. Information work and implementation of work should be summed up and evaluated as soon as possible after final inspection. In connection with final inspection, AF-Bostäder carries out a survey of tenants’ opinions on the implementation of the work.
